Munchkins Playground Club is a place for moms and children to play, socialize, learn, laugh and have fun.
The kids play and learn social skills as they interact with other kids their age and of course the snacks are always a hit.
It's a great place for moms to come and enjoy some adult conversation, coffee and tea and connect with other moms who are going through the same things they are.
The program runs from September to May once a week from 10am-1pm at the indoor playground above the curling rink. It is FREE to attend as long as funding is still available.
Most often it is open ended, children-directed play but special fun activities and crafts are planned for holidays and birthdays. Swimming dates and a Firehall tour were also some activities that took place throughout the year.
There is a Facebook Group (Munchkins Playground Club) and a WhatsApp group chat that you can join to stay connected with what is happening with the group.
